The Library Board of Trustees is responsible to the public for ensuring that the Library operates in an efficient and productive manner. The director, hired by the Board, provides administrative guidance for this operation. The Board expresses its views through the adoption of policies, representing the citizens' interests ethically and promoting the highest level of library service appropriate to the community.
The Logan County Libraries is governed by a seven-member Library Board of Trustees appointed to seven-year terms. Four members are appointed by the Logan County Commissioners, and three members are appointed by the Court of Common Pleas.
The public is welcome to attend Library Board meetings, generally held on the third Thursday of the month. Notices for board meetings are listed in the Bellefontaine Examiner Calendar of Events. For more information, please call the library at 937-599-4189.
