Genealogy and Local History

The Local History Room

If you're searching for a long-lost relative or an old friend, or simply want to explore the history of our area, visit the Local History Room at the Knowlton Library in Bellefontaine. This quiet space is located next to the Reference area and is perfect for researchers. Inside the room, you'll find a microfilm reader, a collection of historical files, and a framed county map. Just outside the History Room door, there is also a copier and a digital scanner available for your use.
